On May 30th, 2022 the Philippines Bureau of Immigration announced that they will allow unvaccinated foreigners to enter the country. If you are fully vaxxed click here. Here is the protocol for unvaxxed travelers:
- First and foremost the quarantine must be done at the point of entry. This means if your final destination is Cebu, for example, then you need to book a direct flight into Cebu.
- The total quarantine length is 14 days. The first 5 days must be completed in an approved hotel; if you test negative you may do the remaining 9 at home or wherever you plan to stay.
- Upon arrival at the airport, you need to pass through immigration and then proceed to the hotel booth.
- Please pre-arrange your transportation and book your hotel before you arrive. If your flight arrives at late night you need to inform them so you’re not waiting behind a glass wall for a long time.
- Travel insurance is not required but highly recommended (those without it may receive more scrutiny)
